What are birthstones, birth flowers, and birth colors?
A birthstone is the gem that symbolizes your birth month and has long-standing tradition (April is diamond, July is ruby). A birth flower is the flower and flower-meaning tied to your date, and a birth color is a color that captures the mood of the day. Birthday Secrets shows all three from a single birthday.
How is the birthstone chosen?
Birthstones follow the traditional month-based list: January garnet, February amethyst, March aquamarine, April diamond, and so on. Each month page details the stone’s meaning, color, hardness, and origin.
Are the birth flower and birth color accurate facts?
The birth flower uses the widely shared 366-day birth flower list, and the birth color uses a designed spectrum that gives each day its own hue. Enjoy them for fun. For more birthday attributes such as birth drink or fruit, the card links out to an external site.
