Speed Quiz is a presenter-led party game where you reveal prompt words one at a time and others try to guess them.
Browse the available categories (Animals, Movies, K-pop, Proverbs, etc.) and select your difficulty level (Easy, Normal, Hard). Click on a game card to open the setup screen.
Set the round time (30s, 60s, 90s, or unlimited). Decide whether to shuffle words and whether to show hints during play. Then tap 'Start Game.'
A large prompt word appears on the screen with a bold countdown timer running. As people shout answers, tap 'Correct' to advance with a point, or 'Pass' to skip. You can also use Space, arrows, or other keyboard shortcuts.
After all words are revealed or time runs out, the summary screen shows your score breakdown (correct, pass, timeout) and the complete word list for reference.

Before starting, turn on 'Show hints' in the setup. During the game, each word will display an optional hint below it. Disable hints if you want a harder challenge.
All game data stays in your browser's local storage—nothing is sent to any server. Game progress resets on page refresh, but your favorites and recent games are saved locally.
